
LawGiver The Kingson, born Oneil Mark Phoenix, is a versatile reggae artist hailing from Kingston, Jamaica. His music spans genres like roots reggae, dancehall, rock, Afrobeats, and soul, delivering messages of unity, empowerment, and positivity. Growing up in a musically rich environment, he was influenced by his father’s vinyl collection and his uncles’ involvement in ska and sound systems. This early exposure shaped his passion for music.
LawGiver has worked with renowned producers and labels, including Mixing Lab Studio and Taxi Records. He launched his own label, Imperishable Uprising, with its first release being “Jah Neva Fail I.” His distinctive voice and style draw inspiration from legends like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Burning Spear.
He has released several works, including mixtapes like The King’s Son From Kingston and Audio Check. His latest album, featuring collaborations with artists like Half Pint and Etana, showcases his commitment to creating timeless reggae music.
